Wisconsin Tobacco Prevention and Control Program (TPCP)
Ethnic and Poverty Networks

The purpose of the comprehensive TPCP is to aggressively address the burden of tobacco use and exposure in Wisconsin communities. The overall Program goals are to (1) Smokefreeeliminate the exposure to secondhand smoke, (2) prevent the initiation of tobacco use by adults and youth, (3) promote the use of evidence-based treating tobacco dependence efforts and (4) address tobacco-related disparities. Community intervention funding for tobacco-related disparities will support the building of capacity within the ethnic and poverty networks to achieve tobacco prevention and control policies. All activities must be directed toward the elimination of tobacco-related health disparities.
