What is the dress code for the banquet?
The dress code for the fundraiser banquet is Black Tie. Come dressed to impress!
Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes, there is parking available. Parking is available directly in front of the venue, and the whole lot may be utilized.
Are there nearby lodging options for out-of-town attendees?
We have partnered with local hotels to offer exclusive rooms for our event attendees. You can find a list of these hotels, along with booking instructions, on our website under the Ticketing information.
For accommodations, WUCMAA has two room blocks for attendees and their guests.
The HolidayInn (next door to the expo center) has a room block of 20 rooms available. The rooms are Double Queen Standard rooms at a rate of $90.00/night + tax. Additional adults per room will accrue a charge of $12.00/person.

Stoney Creek Hotel: Enjoy a Northern Wisconsin stay with Stoney Creek Hotel (next door to the HolidayInn). Stoney Creek Hotel has a room block of 20 additional rooms. 10 Deluxe King rooms at a rate of $105, plus tax. 10 Deluxe Double rooms at a rate of $115, plus tax.

What is the event check-in procedures?
Event check-in will occur at the venue on the day of the fundraiser banquet. Please have your Ticket Order Invoice printed or available via phone for a smooth check-in process. You will receive your table number along with name badges for yourself and all guests listed. Check-in will close at 7pm.
What is the dinner menu?
The dinner menu will consist of Khao Man Gai (poached Thai-style chicken with seasoned rice) for the dinner entree, pre-plated Hmong salad, and coconut sticky rice with mango. If you have any dietary restrictions or needs, please contact our co-lead logistics team member: at pajnag@wucmaa.org.
Is outside food and beverages allowed?
No carry-ins are allowed.
What is the duration of the expo?
The expo will be open from 5 pm - 10 pm.
What is the duration of the Silent Auction?
The silent auction is open from 5 pm - 8:00 pm.
Is there an age restriction for attendees?
There is no age restriction for attendees to attend our event, but there are some age-related requirements to keep in mind:
Table Purchase: If you plan to purchase a table, the main ticket holder must be at least 18 years old.
Alcoholic Beverages: If you intend to enjoy alcoholic beverages at the event, you must be 21 years of age or older and be prepared to present a valid ID as proof of age.
What happens if I can no longer attend after purchasing a ticket?
If you find that you can't attend the event after purchasing a ticket, please contact our ticket coordinator [maleeya@wucmaa.org] as soon as possible. While tickets are non-refundable, we can assist with transferring the ticket to another person.
Can I make a donation if I can't attend the banquet?
Absolutely! If you're unable to attend the banquet but still want to support our cause, you can make a donation by clicking on the donate button below. We greatly appreciate your contribution, whether or not you can attend the event.
